ICRC was inaugurated in November 1979 — sharing facilities with the First CRC on No. 2 Road Richmond B.C. Our founding Pastor was Reverend Stephen Jung. Our church began as an immigrant outreach fellowship within the Richmond First Christian Reformed Church on No. 2 Road. In 1986, ICRC planted its stake at its current location on No. 4 Road. As the congregation grew, various new services and ministries emerged to serve new needs. The 1990s witnessed the growth of the Amoy Service, Teens, Young Adults and Career groups, various Mandarin fellowships and an English Service. In 1999, a new Annex wing was completed as we celebrated our 20th year in existence. In our 20 year history, ICRC has been blessed by the stewardships of Pastors Stephen Jung, John Pan, William Ho, Robin Chua and now Pastor Ezra Ng. Presently, our 300 strong congregation are first generation immigrants from the Philippines, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia as well as second generation Chinese Canadians. We are a member of the Christian Reformed Church of North America.
