As we all know, the Pontiac Firebird met its unfortunate demise in 2002, and Pontiac died just last year. This is where HMC comes in. The 2011 HMC Apache is the modern Firebird revival. I designed the car with smooth, classic flowing lines and shapes, but I also made it a modern muscle/sports car. This car is an extreme performer and is designed to compete with the best sports cars on the market. I put a lot of heart and soul into the car; I spent a lot of time carefully crafting this beauty, and i'm proud of it. With a 7.0L (427cid) V8 producing: 500bhp@6500rpm, and 450 lb-ft of torque@5000rpm, and a six-speed manual transmission, this car actually enters Corvette territory. And with a corsa tuned high flow exhuast, this has off-the-line torque to spare. All this for $60,000 (US). An American favorite and legend has returned bearing a new coat of arms; the HMC logo. (There's also a sport mode where you can shift manually by clicking the lever forward or backward).
