A sunpan or solar stove for solar cooking made out of two pieces of sheet metal 1*2 m each. It features two layers with a dead air space of about 3 cm inbetween. A black piece of metal, a sort of dripping pan is placed a couple of cm elevated from the buttom of the pan. It transfer the radiations from the sun into heat by heating the airspace in the sun pan. The air will rise and heat the pot a bit elevated in the end of the pan. This ensure sirculation of hot air in the stove and increase the heating effect. The big plexiglass of about 55*150 cm permit the radiations of the sun to enter, but keep the heat inside the pan. The size of the pan indicate an effect of about 700W. Aditional reflectors should be able to increase this to well over 1 kw.
