The church of Blanquefort, town of the Gironde, is consecrate to Saint Martin, evangelist of Gaulle. It dates from the Middle Ages, as certify the presence of Merovingian sarcophagi in basements. It was restored twice, in 1806 and between 1875 and 1878, but it preserveds apse of XIIème and XVIème centuries. Its steeple is made of a massive square tower crowned with an arrow of eight sides. It has a notably a classical front. It has 3 monumental paintings, a Stations of the Cross, and 13 others attested paintings and a pulpit style Louis XV make wooden stucco and white marble. The paintings were restored in 1985-1986.
