This is NOT to scale, nor does it yet contain all of the basic furniture. There should also be a dresser and desk drawers that fit under the desk, and a small bookshelf. This model is here just for very basic planning for anyone with an East, North or West double. Feel free to edit and make this model more correct! I'm a total SketchUp newbie, and I don't have measurements of anything, so please go ahead and fix as you see fit :) /// You will need to download SketchUp (free) to view the model. If you don't want to do anything fancy with the model then all you should need to do is the following (otherwise please watch the tutorials): 1. View->Toolbars and uncheck everything except "Camera" and "Modification". 2. You will use the "Orbit" and "Pan" tools from the Camera toolbar to move around the model. 3. You will use the "Move/Copy" tool to move the furniture around. 4. Right click->Explode to split furniture pieces into their components. This is generally not useful, but if you want to split the lofted bed from the desk you will need to use this. 5. As you learn SketchUp you will learn better way to do things, but this is all you need to start :) /// Pieces from Newklius' "Princeton Dorm Furniture" used and modified.
