What does the Viridian EC-19 do? Absolutely nothing! Or Anything at all! That's right, when you need an electronic box, the EC-19 will serve quite well, with on/off switch, display panel and knob on front, plus the EC-19 is the improved version of the EC-18, does eight times as much nothing thanks to the addition of six nonfunctional buttons, the nonworking range slider, an absolutely useless 3-way mode switch, and a fake entry keypad! Top and bottom have ventilation holes, face plate is slightly larger to hold it in a frame or rack. The back has a BNC connector, power plug socket, RCA audio jacks and RJ14 Ethernet socket, plus group of vent holes and a fan. Manufacturer's label on back. As with typical ridiculous manufacturer practices, the fan is screwed on with phillps screws but the case back is screwed on with hex key screws! If you need to do less than nothing, try the EC-18 which does nothing with even fewer controls!
