This is the existing (until mid-2013) bridge carrying IA Highway 92 over a small stream west of Massena, IA that will be replaced in 2013 using a special “lateral slide” technique over a period of just 9 days or less of roadway closure. For more information on the project, see the website linked on this page. This 3D model is the same as appeared in the project’s 3D visualization animation, which can be found on both Vimeo and YouTube at the Iowa DOT’s channels (see http://vimeo.com/63825279 and http://www.youtube.com/user/IowaDOT).
