Ervand Kochar 1918 graduated from Tiflis Nersisyan school, then Moscow Art College of Painting Sculpture and Architecture. 1919 participant of exhibitions. 1922 lived and worked in Paris at Earthenware factory. 1936 Returned to Yerevan 1956 Honoured Art worker of Arm SSR 1965 Peoples Artist of Arm SSR 1967 Lauriate of State prize of Arm SSR. 1976 Peoples Artist of USSR There is Ervand Kochar Museum in Yerevan.
