This is a shelf that i'm making for The Gathering (A computer-party in Norway). The concept is mainly focused on being as light, easily transported, steady, and customisable as possible. This SketchUp has the real dimensions that I'll be using. The shelf is built of small pieces which can be added or removed easily. The model in the left lower corner is a shelf-piece. These can be customised further, or just used as they are. The model in the upper left corner is a result of stacking six pieces together. The model in the lower right corner is a demonstration of how you can minimalize the space required for transport. This demonstrates how I've removed one side of every piece and put all the pieces together. In this particular demonstration, I'm only using four pieces and I have added two door-plates. That is what I'll be using on The Gathering. The model in the upper right corner demonstrates how I'll be using my shelf at the gathering. The shelf-piece with two doors has one lockable room for protecting valuable properties and one cold room for food&drink storage.
