This is an improved version of my earlier model of a geometrically accurate spherical truncated icosahedron (buckyball, soccer ball). This model is a completely smooth sphere, built using only two precisely copied and rotated components (a pentagonal solid and a hexagonal solid). I updated it with better shading to show its definition.
