Bantam Sofa 86"
A soft, less machined brand of modernism first arose in the United States in the 1930s and it was aimed at simplifying life by comfortably modernizing it. Our Bantam Collection, which builds in comfort across the entire surface of each piece, takes its inspiration from this period while taking advantage of the technical advances since. Influenced by the furnishings of Edward J. Wormley, the Bantam Sofa delivers supreme physical comfort as well as aesthetic pleasure. The sofa's premium foam padding covers the entire frame to create a softly rounded profile that is both visually pleasing as well as sophisticated. The fitted upholstered backs feature a single row of button tufting while the perimeters are outlined by the clean lines of piped seams. The frame is CNC precision cut with interlocking joints that are corner blocked for added stability and strength. Tapered solid wood legs hold the Bantam pieces aloft.
