Real rock (rock000) digitised using a digital camera and Photosynth. Point cloud extracted from Photosynth using SynthExport. Point cloud then cleaned up and a convex hull applied using MeshLab. Model painted with a photo of some red mineral on the surface of a quarried piece of basalt. To find other models with basalt texture search for "BasTex", to find models with the same texture search for "SydBas08" or to find models derived from photogrammetry search for "PhoGra". I was encouraged to play more with Photosynth after a discussion on Prohardscaper.com
