Real rock scanned (rock074) then mesh reduced to 1000 faces using Meshlab. The model is derived from a natural stone so it will maintain its natural look when scaled to any size. Model painted with a photo of the surface of a piece of naturally weathered grey granite from northern New South Wales. To find other rock models with granite texture search for "GraTex" or to find models with the same texture search for "ArmGra05". We are using these models to test our Rocksolver software which solves the jigsaw puzzle of building with irregular-shaped blocks of unprocessed rock.
