Likely building construction in the first quarter of s. IX. Divided into 3 floors, was part of the monumental access to San Salvador from the S. Being built the Holy Chamber was incorporated to it, serving as access from a door in your main floor, with access from San Salvador, by a stone staircase. Being reformed the Santa House in the s. XII, is abovedó the ground floor of the tower, being attached to the crypt of Santa Leocadia Holy House. With the construction of the Gothic cathedral, was canceled access to the Santa House from the tower, so that the only role now is the prelude to the Chapel of San Miguel. It is a little known building (only visible her N. wall, from the inside of the Cathedral), and therefore poorly documented for the general public, so we believe this reconstruction interest.
