Real rocks digitised using a digital camera and Photosynth. This is a single mesh with 1000 faces. The original 3D model was a high density point cloud of a pile of rocks extracted from Photosynth using SynthExport then meshed using MeshLab. Parts of the mesh were textured with photos of real rocks. To find models of groups of rocks search for "RocGrp" or to find models derived from photogrammetry search for "PhoGra". I was encouraged to experiment more with Photosynth and MeshLab after a discussion on Prohardscaper.
