The Wells Fargo Center is the 3rd tallest building in Minneapolis. It was the tallest building completed in Minneapolis during the 1980s. The building's facade is of Kasota Stone, a buff-colored limestone. It rises 57 floors, 773 feet and was completed in 1988. The Wells Fargo Center truly stands out as the crown jewel of Downtown Minneapolis.
