Real rock digitised using a digital camera and Photosynth. Point cloud extracted from Photosynth using SynthExport. Point cloud then cleaned up and meshed using MeshLab. It's a piece of granite I found in the garden in Armidale in northern New South Wales. The model is derived from a natural rock so its shape will have a natural look when scaled to any size. The model is textured with a photo of the actual rock so it looks quite similar to the original. To find other models with granite texture search for "GraTex", to find models with the same texture search for "ArmGra01" or to find models derived from photogrammetry search for "PhoGra". I was encouraged to play more with Photosynth after a discussion on Prohardscaper.com
