Excavated from Chile's ultra-dry Atacama desert, where the first South American railroad was built more than 120 years ago, the ties contain no creosote or other chemicals. Each tabletop is meticulously hand-sanded by skilled craftsmen to create a smooth surface with immense individual character. The wood is showcased atop a clean-lined antiqued bronze iron base with crossbar support.
