Originally designed as a rocket powered interceptor, it was redesigned for jet engines at the end of World War II. The pilot lay prone in the cockpit as opposed to being seated to allow for a higher g-load, Crashed on it's first flight, the project was abandoned. I've put in one with the gear up in flight and one with the gear down, unusual in that it had a quartet of struts instead of the typical tricycle gear.
