This is a model of the floating dock and ramp at the Morro Bay Yacht Club. It's not visible from "street view", but it is visible in the satellite image from overhead, and you can see it clearly in the live-video feed from the yacht club here: http://www.mbyc.net/webcam/index.htm Since G.E. tapers the land slowly unlike the actual cliff-like drop at the edge of the parking lot, the dock is at high-tide position so the top end won't be buried, and a "terrain skirt" of ocean was added so it doesn't appear to be floating 6 feet above the water either. The pennants that identify the club from the ocean side are not shown.
