Situated on a standard sized, 33′ x 122′ Vancouver lot, this Architrix laneway house hosts a traditional design with a functional layout. By extending the roof line with dormers, we were able to provide plenty of natural light to enter into the upper floor living areas.
The use of a bay window located off the eating area serves as two functions. The light that enters through its window allows the space to feel larger then it actually is and adds additional seating without obstructing the flow of the interior space. Don’t let the size fool you. This laneway house may look small but is efficient in its space usage for both the main and upper floors.
